Learn the Major Arcana - A Beginner’s Tarot Workshop Begin your Tarot journey by exploring the fascinating world of the Major Arcana and discovering the stories, symbols, and wisdom held within each card. The 22 Major Arcana cards represent powerful archetypes, life experiences, personal growth, and transformative moments. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn the fundamental meanings of each card, understand their symbolism, and explore how they can be interpreted in different life situations. Through guided teaching and practical exercises, you will develop a strong foundation in reading the Major Arcana and begin building your confidence in connecting with the cards. We will explore how each card’s imagery, themes, and energies can provide insight into personal reflection, decision-making, and spiritual growth. This workshop goes beyond memorising card meanings. You will learn simple techniques to connect intuitively with the Major Arcana, understand how cards interact with each other, and begin applying your knowledge through basic Tarot spreads and practice readings. The workshop includes interactive activities such as group discussions, card exploration exercises, and guided practice sessions. You will have the opportunity to share your insights, ask questions, and learn in a supportive environment with fellow Tarot enthusiasts. By the end of the workshop, you will have a solid understanding of the Major Arcana, practical tools to begin your Tarot practice, and greater confidence in developing your own relationship with the cards. Class Size: To ensure a personalised and engaging learning experience, this workshop is limited to a maximum of 6 participants. Advance registration is required to secure your place. Registrations will close once full capacity is reached. Prerequisite: No prior Tarot experience is required. This workshop is suitable for beginners who are interested in learning the foundations of Tarot and developing an understanding of the Major Arcana cards. What to Bring: Please bring a Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) Tarot deck or any Tarot deck based on the RWS system for practice. A deck will also be available for participants to use during the workshop if required.
